The Belmond British Pullman trip to Bristol on Wednesday 6th September was shared between Clan Line and Tornado. This allowed us to swap positions, so that we could return to Stewarts Lane, and Tornado could be at Saint Philip's Marsh, ready for the final Torbay Express of the season.

We had a great run back. Clan Line is going better than ever, hauling more than twice the load of the Bristolian. We managed 54½ at Box summit, and 63 at Dauntsey summit, both on gradients of 1 in 100, without the loco being extended.
